The Ball-of-Light Particle Model is based upon the idea that electric, magnetic, and gravitational fields can set up in spherical harmonic patterns. In order to help others better visualize this idea, I have created a few pages on the topic.

Circular Harmonics (Think Spirograph (TM))

Let us start with a simple 2-dimensional harmonic pattern. One of my favorite toys when I was a kid was the Spirograph. Most of you are familiar with this toy. It is a remarkable toy -- creating simple, complex and beautiful patterns. Harmonic patterns repeat. That is, if you start drawing a line with a specific Spirograph pattern and the pen eventually starts to retrace the pattern already drawn -- repeating -- it is harmonic. Here is a simple example drawn with a computer program similar to Spirograph. (I don't remember the name of the program -- I used it at a Kinko's on a Macintosh almost 20 years ago.)

A few things to note. First, the pattern is circular. While this might seem overly obvious, all of my following examples are also "circular" even when they look like a square! Second, the pattern repeats. If you were to follow the line completely all of the way around, you find it does indeed repeat. This is a sign of a harmonic pattern, and I believe, a key detail in harmonic elementary particles. Third, the overall pattern "looks" harmonic. Nonharmonic patterns often appear to be exploding or pinching. Finally, I think of the lines as a wave. It is only one wave in these examples, and it follows around the line. It would be much more difficult to explain this with multiple lines or waves, moving in multiple directions, and interacting according to the laws of how electric, magnetic and gravitational fields interact.

Note how this "circular" pattern appears triangular. Note how it appears to create tubes.

Note how this "circular" harmonic pattern appears to be a square. Yes, it really is a circular harmonic pattern.

This pattern might give you a better feel for how a circular pattern can create a square image. Cool, huh?

Another square like pattern created from a circular harmonic.

I love this kind of pattern. It has a very sexy feel to it.

This circular harmonic appears triangular. Also note how it has a 3-dimensional envelope feel to it.

This circular harmonic pattern appears to be five-sided. Note the subtle spherical pattern in the center.
